
Nolan Boggess is a theatre director, manager, and writer who is obsessed with the musical, bizarre, and temporary aspects of the performing arts. He is interested in LGBTQ+ stories, unconventional musical theatre, using theatre to create a more just world.
He currently is the Assistant Company Manager of GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS on Broadway, a contributing writer for Theatrely, and a freelance artist.

Originally from Des Moines, IA, Nolan grew up in a household that worshipped musical theatre. When he was two, he asked for the VHS of Cats the musical for Christmas
(his taste has since changed) and never looked back.
Nolan earned his BA from Grinnell College in Theatre and Dance , focusing on performance art and site-specific performance. He worked on immersive performance for an audience of one with Riverbed Theatre in Taiwan and created a site-specific environmental prairie labyrinth with collaborators from the UK.
He devised multiple productions at Grinnell and won the McClennon Clark Playwriting Award. Over four years, Nolan also created and grew a student-run musical theatre program from twenty students to over one hundred students.
